Bio

My life has been informed by the most amazing family, helpers, and teachers.  I wouldn't be who I am without them.

When I was 8 years old, I asked my mother if I could take piano lessons. She immediately said yes and signed me up. Then she took me to each and every lesson.

When I was 10, the pastor of my church asked me to play the piano for Sunday School.

When I was 13, the music director of my church asked me to be the official pianist and assistant organist and choir director of my church.

When I was in my 20s, an agent got me working as an entertainer (pianist and singer) as soon as she heard my demo tape.

When I was in my 30s, I took a little detour and became a psychotherapist.  I did that for about thirty years.

When I was in my 60s, I started searching for songwriting teachers.   My songs just weren't ready for radio or streaming, and I couldn't figure out why. So, over the course of several years, I found three teachers who shared their techniques and wisdom and now my songs are being cut by artists.

Then came the production. I really needed to know how to record a song in my home studio and have it ready for streaming as well as TV and film. Into my life came an amazing teacher of music production and within a year, I was producing songs that were being signed for TV and film.

Where would we be without wonderful teachers?
